The War with Grandpa (2020)

Grandpa Ed (DeNiro) has been a widower for six months and has a hard time living alone. His daughter Sally (Thurman) cares about his well-being and can convince Ed to move in with her and her family on a trial basis. Sally’s son Peter has to clear out his beloved room for Grandpa and move into the dusty attic. That’s too much for Peter, who immediately declares war on Ed to reclaim his room!
Behind the back of the rest of the family, the two of them ignite a firework of ever escalating pranks, which – relentlessly but creatively – are supposed to force the other to give up. Can grandfather and grandson still manage to bury the hatchet before everything gets completely out of control?
