The film follows the young Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth), the last hope for his dwindling Snow family, which has fallen from grace in a post-war Capitol. Facing the threat of financial ruin, Snow is reluctantly assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), a tribute hailing from the impoverished District 12. However, when Lucy Gray’s charm captivates the Panem audience, Snow spots an opportunity to change their fates. With everything he’s worked for hanging in the balance, Snow forms an alliance with Lucy Gray to shift the odds in their favor. Amidst a constant internal struggle between his instincts for both good and evil, Snow embarks on a race against time to survive and determine whether he will ultimately become a songbird or a snake.
