Superman & Lois is superhero drama television series developed for The CW by Todd Helbing and Greg Berlanti, based on the DC Comics characters Superman and Lois Lane, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch star as the titular characters Clark Kent / Superman, a costumed superhero, and Lois Lane, a journalist for the Daily Planet.
For years, megalomaniac supervisors confront the monsters that have ravaged Metropolis and alien invaders who want to destroy the human race after confronting the world’s most famous superhero, Clark Kent, aka The Man of Steel, and Lois Lane, the most famous journalist in comics. Clark and Lois must also be concerned with whether their sons Jonathan and Jordan will inherit their father’s Kryptonian superpowers as they grow up. Returning to Smallville to run some Kent family business, Clark and Lois met again with Lana Lang, a local loan officer who was also Clark’s first love, and her husband, Firefighter Chief, Kyle Cushing.
The adults aren’t the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville as the Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle’s rebellious daughter, Sarah. Of course, there’s never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially with Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane looking for Superman to vanquish a villain or save the day at a moment’s notice. Meanwhile, Superman and Lois’ return to idyllic Smallville is set to be upended when a mysterious stranger enters their lives.
