Actor and comedian Adam Sandler, brings his signature humor to this animated coming-of-age musical comedy. The story unfolds during the last year of elementary school, as viewed through the perspective of a class pet. Leo, a world-weary 74-year-old lizard voiced by Sandler, has been confined to the same Florida classroom for decades alongside his terrarium-mate, a turtle voiced by Bill Burr. Upon learning that he has only one year left to live, Leo plans to escape and explore life beyond the classroom. However, he unexpectedly becomes entangled in the problems of his anxious students, including a shockingly mean substitute teacher. This adventure turns out to be the most peculiar yet rewarding bucket list Leo could have imagined.
