Billy (Mark Duplass) and Ray (Sterling K. Brown) share an enduring friendship, akin to brothers, and find themselves as the sole survivors in a post-apocalyptic world. Ray, a brilliant scientist, devised a self-contained structure with all the necessary systems to sustain life on a planet that could no longer support it. Their custom-made habitat is equipped with fundamental provisions and comfortable amenities, allowing them to maintain a semblance of the life they once knew. A hydroponic garden ensures a fresh supply of vegetables, while a meticulously managed fishpond provides crucial protein. However, they now face a dire situation as the fish population rapidly dwindles, leaving them with only three remaining. Despite the uncertainty, Billy and Ray cling to hope, knowing that life has a way of persevering.
