Eight-year-old Peter is tormented by an enigmatic, incessant tapping sound emanating from within the confines of his bedroom wall — a tapping that his parents adamantly dismiss as mere figments of his imagination. As Peter’s apprehension grows, he becomes convinced that his parents (portrayed by Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr) might be concealing a dreadful and perilous secret, causing him to question the foundation of their trust. And for a child, few things could be more alarming than that.
