Unofficial “Top Gear” successor with the former team Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May on the streaming service Amazon Prime. “The Grand Tour” is not just a name, but also a program: Because in their new show, the trio is traveling around the world.

“We’re going to travel the world and record each episode in a different country – in a huge tent. It’s like a big trip, if you will. So we decided to call the show ‘The Grand Tour’ ” explains Jeremy Clarkson. Not only are the recorded films produced in different locations, the studio part in front of a live audience is also recorded every week in a large tent at changing locations around the world
