The future of Snyder’s Rebel Moon is naturally dependent on how well it performs for Netflix, but in attempting to build it as a potential IP, at least there’s a solid foundation underneath it. While on the surface Rebel Moon – which sees Sofia Boutella’s Kora lead a band of warriors against an oppressive government – sounds like a good premise for a Star Wars spinoff, in truth, Snyder wouldn’t have been a great fit for the property.
