While collecting proof to justify the closure of a tropical U.S. Air Force base, a meticulous congressional assistant develops an affinity for its compassionate captain. Congressional assistant Erica (played by Graham) sacrifices her family Christmas to embark on a journey as instructed by her boss. Upon arriving at a seaside Air Force base, she finds herself at odds with Capt. Andrew Jantz (portrayed by Ludwig), who is well aware that her task is to uncover grounds for defunding the facility.
