10-year-old Max Mercer has been accidentally left at home by himself for the holidays when his family goes on a trip to Tokyo, Japan where the family end up having to take separate flights due to an error in the flight booking. Now he must work to defend his home from Pam and Jeff Fritzovski who have arrived to steal a priceless heirloom.
